HOW THE CREAMIE ICE CREAM BAR WAS BORN
In the late 1950s, a Cache Valley, Utah grade school principal approached an ice cream company with a request: to create a more nutritious frozen treat made with milk instead of sugar water. He wanted something healthier for his students—something the whole family could enjoy.
Inspired by this request, the company developed a delicious ice cream bar made with real fruit and natural flavorings. That’s how the original Creamies—chocolate, orange, and banana—were born. To this day, they’re still made in Cache Valley, Utah. Creamies are rich, smooth, wholesome, and refreshing—a treat loved by all.
Over time, new flavors joined the lineup, including Strawberry, Cookies and Creamies, Root Beer Float, Mint Chocolate Dipped, Cherry Chocolate Dipped, and Vanilla Chocolate Dipped. We also introduced probiotic yogurt Creamies in Peach, Chocolate, and Raspberry.
